RE: Iva Spangler
I disconnected the link-she was the wrong one Iva. The dates did not correctly match. I was corrected on that by another member, and the problem was solved. The page for the Iva I was looking for had not been created yet, but has since been created. Thank you for your response.

Decatur Cemeteries
Karin, I started searching in Decatur and had to put it on hold due to rainy weather and two business trips. Decatur and surrounding areas are now flooded and there is no end in sight for the rain. So, I will get back out there but it looks like it will be quite awhile before we dry up. I just wanted to keep you informed!

Showers photo requests
I have completed your photo requests for David and Matilda Showers. I wanted to let you know that while I was there, I found their daughter Pearl next to them. Their stones stated "Father", "Mother", "Daughter". Pearl did not have a memorial so I established one for her and uploaded a photo. If you want her transferred, please let me know.
Thanks
Susan

Thanks.

I have started to search the Decatur Cemetery. I have been through half of it and as soon as the weather cooperates again, I will go back to see if I can locate her.

Matilda Showers & David Showers photo requests
You are receiving this message because you have submitted a photo request for the above named person(s). I wanted to let you know that I will be traveling to that area from Dallas during the first week of June and I would be able to get the requested photo(s) for you. I do need some help from you tho. While I am in the Chicago area, I intend to get as many names off the list for Evergreen Cemetery as possible. The list is growing every day and is now at 263 requests! Evergreen Cemetery is near and dear to my heart as I have several of my own family members there. If you would please call the cemetery office and obtain the burial plot locations and send them to me, I will for sure get them for you when I go there in June. If everyone could get me the locations I could really get a lot of requests done but I can't do it alone! The office number for Evergreen Cemetery is 708-422-9051. You can leave me a public message with the information, or you may email me at 1963susansmith@gmail.com Please be sure to reference the requested names. Thank you!

RE: Mt. Tabor Cem
Yes, there are two cemeteries,
Old Mount Tabor and Mount Tabor. Both cemeteries are across the street from each other. Old Mount Tabor shares a long stone drive with a family home but u can access the cemetery any time. The cemetery is very large but only a small area to the back of the property has stones. Not sure why they stopped using the property for burials. Not sure why they named both places Mount Tabor.
