Honestly, I have no idea. I know there are very few stones in Mt Zion. As I look at the picture that I posted, I have to think that from the background, it looks like a small cemetery. I'm not sure if I entered it in the wrong cemetery or the other person did. Mine does say "J Chronister" and according to Josiah's obituary on the other memorial, the other Chronisters in the Mt Zion cemetery match up. I'll try to get to the Mt Zion cemetery and see if I can find the stone again.

Josiah is my 1st cousin 3x removed and yes he is buried at Mt. Zion and not at Decatur Cemetery. Tried emailing Jim Cox a long time ago but both places remain. Mt Zion of course needs to be updated with name, dates, and bio. Thanks for looking into it I long forgot about the duplication. I can remove my photo.

Deceased Name: Wilfred Godfrey
Wilfred L. "Bud" Godfrey, 80, 5229 West 200 South, Portland, died Wednesday morning at his residence. Born in Missouri on April 13, 1924 to Charles and Ima (Holland) Godfrey, he married Ruth Havens on March 3, 1950. She survives. He was a farmer and attended West Walnut Church of Christ. Other survivors include two sons, Donald Godfrey and Steve Godfrey, both of Portland, and two grandchildren. Services are Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Strouse officiating. Burial will be in the Green Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to West Walnut Street Church of Christ or the donor's choice.
