Bio Photo Just someone hooked on family research - I transcribe records for a genealogical society as a volunteer, have been working on the death register for a few years.

Since I don't live where my ancestors/relatives are I have found this site very interesting and helpful.

Thank you to all who take their time to make this site as great as it is!

reminder to me: to add a relative other than parent/s or spouse/s: XXXX put in mem# - Name put in person's name

Motherway @ StL Calvary
Hello,
Success, he has a stone. I typed out what is on the stone in the caption if you can't see it The numbers of Francis and Dorothea are not that easy to read.

Happy hunting,
Kathie

RE: Calvary Cemetery, St. Louis
Oh Yes, there are 4 of us, we even share a google doc. 18-24 months ago there were over 1100 requests. We have done pretty good at getting them down. Most of the old ones are unmarked or in sections that don't have maps- sections 16 and 5. So those we have to walk. And I will admit that i only do that 3 or 4 times a years. Another graver and myself have put in most, 95% of the marked ones on 5 K H M N 5-5 5-6 'O'. I have done 5 F E J G L billiongraves, then i will use that to help me find them again for Find A Grave. Or sectiona 1 3 4 6 7 8 9 11 12... are mapped but lot 344 could be next to 78, they were number as they were sold where ever in that section-FUN!

Sorry about the duplicate thing... it is just that most 85% are in according to burial records. I am sorry but I don't remember the name, we get 3 or 4 month that are duplicates. Some are spelling errors others are people just don't check first. I am primary updater for the google doc, so before i add it I run them through the Archdiocese search and the cemetery its self. So I get to be the barer of bad news.

BTW my parents neighbors are Motherway's. We will look for it. - Section 29 is fairly well marked, so there probably is one. And there are nice orderly maps so it is easier.

Happy hunting
Kathie

RE: Question??
New SPP is now called Resurrection. Double check me but I think it says that on the main page for the cemetery. Personally I think Old SPP was getting mixed up with New SPP

I got the information from New Family Search or from my own personal records.
