Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family history for 10+ years. Family names I am researching are:
St. Cin, Lanius, Spinks, Campbell, Compton, Reeves, Baker, Berkel, Fisher and many other related.
I enjoy going to the cemeteries. I like to be able to place flowers on the graves of people who have passed on. So many of these graves have been lost and or forgotten. I feel it is a blessing if I can help even a small few people find their lost loved ones.
I also like to imagine how and where people lived, some so very long ago.

IF YOU SEND ME A CORRECTION FOR ONE OF MY MEMORIALS, AND I HAVE NO WAY TO CONTACT YOU, YOUR CORRECTIONS MAY NOT BE MADE. SORRY.

RE: Craig Cemetery
There's more than that showing now. Dan and I were up there last fall and the grass had even been cut. I could tell there were some that had maybe previously had stones but may have been taken over by the earth. I think when they went it must've been because of the grass. A couple of years ago a lady had gotten some folks together and they went up and did some maintenance on it. I know for sure I saw Noah Reeves, Hoppy Pitts, Frank Pitts, James Pitts too I believe and a few Craigs too.

RE: Cook Station
Sorry you can't make it. We are expecting a nice crowd and are hoping the rain will hold off for us. The plan is to make this an annual thing, so we will definatly keep you on the list.

Fisher Family Research
Do we have the same Fisher connection? My 3rd great grandparents were Peter Wesley Hutcheson, Sr., and Elizabeth Fisher Carleton of Virginia and then Oglethorpe Co., GA.

RE: Heinrich Lanius
Hello Diana. Thank you for sharing your research and for all your work on Find a Grave. Looks like we are related. Heinrich is the son of my 5th great grandparents and, therefore, my 5th great grand uncle. Nice to meet you cousin.

Feel free to contact me any time. I have the S. O Hutcheson III tree on Ancestry.com and am building the Lanius/Launius connection from the information (notebook) my father left me, a collection of research from my cousin George Murray Sr. who continued the work of my aunt Peggy Launius, sister to my paternal grandmother, Virginia Launius. All of these family members are now gone but have left me a treasure.

Regards,
Joy Hutcheson Steele

RE: Hi
Hi Diana,

We have a glorious day here today; one of those rare and fine Michigan perfections with which Spring sometimes gifts us. Hope your day is glorious, too.

Lula E. Denny Barton
Hello Diana,
Regarding your memorial for Lula E. Denny Barton (77736006), Denny was not her maiden name, but was the surname of the husband she is buried with (Lewis Denny, memorial #77736021). She also married a Barton later, and had been married to an Arthur before she married Lewis Denney in 1910. There is also another memorial that has also been created for her: 93970836, by Alice P., under the name Lula E. Denny.

The E. in Lula's name is for Ethel. Her maiden was Marsey, or some spelling variation of that.

Lewis Denny's middle name was Joseph.
