Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family history for 10+ years. Family names I am researching are:
St. Cin, Lanius, Spinks, Campbell, Compton, Reeves, Baker, Berkel, Fisher and many other related.
I enjoy going to the cemeteries. I like to be able to place flowers on the graves of people who have passed on. So many of these graves have been lost and or forgotten. I feel it is a blessing if I can help even a small few people find their lost loved ones.
I also like to imagine how and where people lived, some so very long ago.

I know 3 excellent guidelines for interacting with other people.

"Assume good faith."
"Use good manners."
"Don't bite the newcomers."

Cook Station

I know you have some connections to Cook Station so I'd like to invite to like the Cook Station Community facebook page. We have over 200 people in the group and they are posting some amazing historical items and pictures. We are going to have the 1st annual Old Cook Station Day on June 6 this year at the old schoolhouse. There mercantile will also be open for tours and the owners of the hotel and feed store cottages are going to be renting them out for anyone interested.

William Eggers
Thank you so much for the transfer of my GGGGrandfather's memorial!

I'm wondering if you might be related to the Eggers family?
William R. Eggers is my 3rd Great Grandfather. I believe you have him listed as William A Eggers (which may be correct, as I've noticed a's and r's seem to be difficult to distinguish on handwritten documents). Your William A Eggers and my William R both died at the home of their son-in-law, Stephen Anderson (my GGGrandfather). This all leads me to believe that they may be the same person. However, I have him married to Elizabeth Ogle. I'm wondering what your source might be for the wife you have listed?

Thank you so much for all your hard work and in advance for any light that you might be able to shed on this subject.

Amy (Isgrig) Mounce
Crawford County MO Alexander/Kreamelmeyer Cemetery
I'm wondering why the Alexander - Kreamelmeyer Cemetery internments are labeled as being in the Wilkinson Cemetery? There is a picture of the sign in front with no mention about it being the Wilkinson Cemetery. Does this need to be changed?

Hi, Diana,
On this memorial, both his mother and wife are listed as Marie Rose (Brooks) Brooks, memorial #4300761; this is his mother. Just a note to let you know that I have submitted a correction with his wife's name and memorial, Barbara Ann (Moss) Brooks, memorial #22910021.

I think this memorial might be duplicated with one for "Albert Payne", #33199443.

RE: Mrs Frank Canady or Emma Kanady
Emma Henson Canady and Mrs. Frank Kanady are the same do you have a plot number. If you don't can I leave a small memorial by the fence as this is where my great grandfather cried for 3 days and nights. Emmas daughter my grandmother passed away but her 1/2 sister is still alive and told me her mom said that Frank Kanaday my gt grandfather who was 103 when he passed cried for three days.

Thank You
Mrs. Williams
