I have been researching my family history for 10+ years. Family names I am researching are:|
St. Cin, Lanius, Spinks, Campbell, Compton, Reeves, Baker, Berkel, Fisher and many other related.
I enjoy going to the cemeteries. I like to be able to place flowers on the graves of people who have passed on. So many of these graves have been lost and or forgotten. I feel it is a blessing if I can help even a small few people find their lost loved ones.
I also like to imagine how and where people lived, some so very long ago.
NOTE: Jan. 2014 -- My computers (3) have been down for awhile, I have not been ignoring anyone. I will have everything up & running again soon. Thank you for your understanding.
Feb. 13, 2014 I may have my computer problems fixed and I am trying to catch up.
Computers...1. Desk top died. 2. laptop blue screen (needed a driver for a graphic card). 3. New desk top with windows 8 needed to be updated to go on the internet but you had to go on the internet to update it. All way beyond me. Thanks to my repair man, things seem to be going better.
IF YOU SEND ME A CORRECTION FOR ONE OF MY MEMORIALS, AND I HAVE NO WAY TO CONTACT YOU, YOUR CORRECTIONS MAY NOT BE MADE. SORRY.
FROM MY FRIENDS PROFILE: CARMASKID
I know 3 excellent guidelines for interacting with other people.
"Assume good faith."
"Use good manners."
"Don't bite the newcomers."
I am a relative newcomer, and there's a lot to learn at Find A Grave. Please don't bite me. I have enough wounds and scars already, some of them very recent.
Best Wishes to you all,
CarmasKid, 14 Jan 2014

For Susan Smith in Pleasant Point Cemetery, Crawford County, MO.
My husband's great grandfather, Addison Adams 77624837 was a brother to Susannah "Susan" Adams Smith. Our information is that she was born abt 1802. Her parents were John Adams & Eleanor Collyar/Collier
Actually this isn't a correction my cousin Charles Bennie Hornbeck memorial #85304896 passed away on March 28, 2014 and was buried on March 30 2014. Btw are you related to Bennie?
I really appreciate the Clinton transfer and most of all I appreciate your hard work on Find A Grave

Thank you for transferring Andrew's memorial to me. Someone had him buried in Bourbon Cemetery. I always wondered why he wasn't buried with his second wife. Found his obituary that said he was buried in Hill Cemetery and sure enough on checking again there he was. Will be deleting Bourbon Cemetery memorial. Would it be possible to take the death certificate off of his memorial (I have one on my ancestry site). If you would happen to have a picture of his gravestone I would like to have that. Thanks again!
Have a good day...
|C. Carter Kahler||Crawford County edits|
Just wanted to thank for the many edits you have done for me lately on Crawford County memorials. Much appreciated!
Have a good day.
|Jane Fay Cook Edwards||Cook|
Diana, I have a few more family links for your Cook memorials. Had you rather I just request transfers?
|C. Carter Kahler||RE: Mattie Delcour|
Bryan was the name of her 2nd husband (Ed W. Bryan). Frederick Delcour was her first husband. Do both names appear on her stone? The Falloon part is right. Chris
|Jerry L Edwards||RE: Cook|
Thanks for the links. And in answer to your question, he is my wife's relative. She is going to log in and use the edit tab to request David and Rhoda.
David is an important person. His locations plus three DNA matches led to connecting a large number of Cooks in TN, MS, TX to those in KY and MO, with his father as a common ancestor.
Thank you very much. Jerry.
