Born in Canton, Mississippi, graduated from Canton High School 1954, went to USAF, then to University of Houston, Adelphi University, Stephen F. Austin State University. Retired, now living in Staunton, Virginia. My Harrisons arrived in Deasonville, Yazoo County, Ms., in 1835, my other lines arrived in Monroe County around 1818.

I have two Harrisons who were Burgesses in early Williamsburg, have 9 revolutionary ancestors approved by the Sons of American Revolution, belong to Sons of the Revolution, two ancestors approved by Society of War of 1812, one ancestor Colonel who fought in the French and Indian Wars, and the revolution at the Battle of Kings Mountain, approved by the Society of Colonial Wars, early ancestors approved by National Society of Sons and Daughters of Pilgrims, (they don’t approve you in these organizations unless you can document your claim) 15th cousin 4 times removed to Robert E. Lee, we share a common ancestor in King Edward I, and all the English kings before that including Alfred the Great and the Saxon Kings, 25th cousin 3 times removed from Queen Elizabeth II, cousin to Charles, Harry, William, cousin to Kate Middleton through another line, also descendant of King Duncan of Scotland and Queen “Saint” Margaret. In fact I have six ancestors claimed as Saints in the Catholic Church. Descendant of William the Conqueror and Charlemagne, etc., etc., Dukes, Earls, Marques, kings of France and Spain and early German monarchs. Distant cousin to George Washington
