Bio

Like so many others, I did not become active in researching my family tree until most(99%) of my known relatives had already passed away. Happily, I have my had many wonderful surprises over the past few years, discovering cousins I never knew existed and forming incredible, albeit, long distance relationships via email and Facebook. Find A Grave has been a very useful tool and I am very happy to be one of the many thousands who have contributed to this fantastic site.
The memorials that I manage and those that I have established are actual family members--- for the most part, and others are suspected, but unproven, meaning I haven't been able to connect the genealogical dots--- yet! I have requested transfers of some memorials from volunteers who selflessly established them as a genuine service to others. In that light, I too would transfer a memorial if the requester was an even more immediate family member than myself. If you have any additional information/photos of anyone in my memorials and would like to see them added in, please send in those edit requests. Any and all photos that I have taken and placed on FindAGrave can be used without attribution to me. I believe that we are in this remarkable journey together.
PS: I am not interested in setting any records for memorials established. I AM interested in providing an accurate portrayal of the deceased, with birth and death dates, places, and as many family links as possible. That is one reason why I will post excerpts of obituaries that I have located, in order to help others who may still be searching for family connections.

Personal info: Married 50+ years, to the same wife :), 6 children, 14 grand-children(for whom I am doing this work). USAF veteran, Viet-Nam era 1969-1973
