Bio

Born in southern Lorain County, Ohio.
I'm a photographer and information technology consultant (computers) in the west suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. I work often on portraits and weddings--the very items our grandchildren will use to remember us! I've been interested in genealogy and family history since I was in grade school, and I'm still probably the youngest person on FaG haha!

My main interests on Find A Grave are to further my genealogical research, and to help out with photos whenever possible.

Most of my mother's family are descendants of the original settlers of the Connecticut Western Reserve in Northeast Ohio, especially in Lorain County. I am still researching many of these roots and am most happy to help with photo requests in Lorain County and nearby parts of Erie, Huron, Medina, and Cuyahoga Counties. I have found several interesting ancestors, including William Bradford, who arrived on the Mayflower in 1620 and became the second governor of Massachusetts; also I found John Webster, fifth governor of Connecticut.

My father descends partly from early settlers of Columbiana County, Ohio, who arrived from Harford County, Maryland, and partly from various places around the Greater Pittsburgh Area. When the trail hits Pennsylvania, I am often stuck, unless I can find cemetery records to help me. So far, that help has been few and far between, but I'm hoping to bridge through it with help! On this side of the family I have found it likely that I am a descendant of Admiral Sir John Hawkins, who helped defeat the Spanish Armada in 1588.

If you spot a grave I added that happens to be a relative of yours, I'd be happy to transfer it over to you.
