Bio

Hi, I'm Wendy, a retired special education teacher from Klamath Falls, Oregon. My spare time is spent researching my family's genealogy, spending quality time with my grandchildren, and traveling with my husband. We enjoy camping in our travel trailer and exploring a new area. I especially like to learn about the local history of an area. I like to help other genealogists, by photographing graves, buying antique photographs, documents, or family Bibles that have identifying information, and "reuniting" these items with descendants who are researching them. I am a lifetime member of "Sons and Daughters of the Oregon Pioneers" and am proud of my pioneer heritage. I had 3 pioneer families who came to Oregon over the Oregon Trail in 1853 - the Mathews, the Stoops, and the Smiths. I enjoy corresponding with distant relatives I have met online, researching these families. Genealogy is a joy to be shared. Happy Hunting!
