Genealogy has become quite the hobby for me. My main interest is with the Lighty (Lichty, Leighty) family, of which my paternal line is first known to have resided in Bern Twp, Berks Co, PA and then moved to Montgomery Co, OH. My line continued to Fountain Co, IN, then to Livingston Co, IL, along with Grant Co, KS, and Madison Co, IN. Now, I reside in Hendricks Co, IN.

Other family lines include the Dille, Farren and Heffernan clans of western PA, mainly in Venango, Crawford and Mercer counties along with the Alexanders of southwestern Kansas.
