I am pretty sure that her parents were Jacob and Jane (Kannaday) who were married 8/29/1827 in Wilkes Co. NC. They moved from NC to KY. Their son, Squire Harris who married Nancy Bentley is my line. I have not been able to find anything previous to Jacob and Jane's marriage.
Jane's name may have been Virginia Jane according to some.

I am a member of the Richwood Cemetery Board of Directors and as Registrar I listed the burials on findagrave with the grave locations based on cemetery records and a survey of tombstones in an effort to assist descendants in their search for ancestors. I do not know the Riley family personally. The information I have is what is on his tombstone. If you have the date of William's death I will add it to his memorial.

Question: Can you tell me if this cemetery is considered Ward Cemetery at Haney Branch or Haney's Branch? Thank you.
|Paul Clary||RE: Small favor to ask|
No need to be concerned. You should keep and manage memorials of your own family. :-) I'm not worried about credit unless I have reason to believe someone is deliberately trying to be dishonest. I know you aren't like that.
Sorry for my late reply. I've been a little busy and don't often check my Find A Grave profile as often as I used to do. If I can be of assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me at email@example.com.
