I have always been fasanated with with history and preserving it...I have an unusual past my mother was 51 when i was born.My fathers mother was still leaving till i was 23 she was born in Cherokee Nation in 1896 with her husband.Both their families are listed in old books as old settler families Coody/Ross/Griffin/Hedrick Headrick/Lyman/Ptrick/Kirkpatrick/Hilderbrant OK Ga Tn Fox Ok. My mother lost her father when she was 6mo old AR. My grandmother remarried and remained in same are till death , there by giving me another advantage. Most of my mothers family is in one cemetary in near Colt, Ar,Forest City,DeRoche.Powell from Ms Ar/Sander Ok/Clifft from TN AR MO/Baker Tn/Sander OK. I am verry proud ok my Cherokee Ancestory. Love doing genalogy
