I started researching my ancestry in April 2011 and really did not know much. I had no clue where any of my ancestors were buried before I came across this site. I have learned so much about my heritage and keep coming across new information all of the time. Thank you for everyone who has helped along the way, I really appreciate it. Please feel free to use any photos I have taken. I don't have many memorial pages that I manage that are of no relation, but if you would like me to transfer anyone who is not related just send a message in the correction tab.
Demorest cemt Hi Andy: My name is Debbie, I would gladly try to get your photos when I go to the cemt... I have never been there but I have a near by cemt that I will be going to , so when I go, I will gladly try to find your family. the cemt. here are wet, so it will be a few weeks before I go... Please be patient with me
RE: Jon Metzger I have a lot more pics but didn't know how many to post. The one with him and the kids is my favorite. Hard to believe that just a few days before he died he was handing out candy to little kids. Thanks for the site, it's awesome and thanks for the pics of the funeral. Didn't know if I would want those pictures but now that I seen them I'm glad I have them. See you soon. Julie
George W. Card Greetings and welcome to one of the best websites on the Web. I connected George to his son Charles E. Card. He was married to my GG Grandaunt. I believe it was the 2nd marriage for the both of them. Thanks for the information.
I visited the Memorial for Charles' brother, MJ Sheldon and I noticed that there was no birthdate for him. I took the liberty of using the birth calculator online at (http://longislandgenealogy.com/birth.html). I entered his death date, age at death, and it tells that he was born on 25 Dec 1855 if you care to use it. It's pretty accurate within a day or so if all the facts are correct. I have it in my favorites and have used it countless times. I am sure that, in this case, it is right on target.
Thanks for the heads up about Charles' father's and his Memorial. Much success in you quest to discover your roots.
