RE: Trowbridge
My books are packed currently, but I blieve the dates are from The Cemeteries of Steuben County.

Re: Tedd Malcolm
I spent the day, Sunday, driving to Ohio to fulfill your photo request for Tedd Malcolm and since there were also no photos of headstones for the rest of his family, I took those as well. After uploading the photos just now, I noticed that the person who created the memorials, back in August of 2013, just uploaded photos yesterday that were apparently taken some time ago. In case she deletes the photos I uploaded, please let me know and I am happy to send you the photos I took of the Plot and individual markers, which are recent, clear and the headstones are clean. Thank you!

Paul Vandervoot Allen-Graceland
The cemetery genealogist rechecked on Paul Allen and found no record for him in Graceland and that the other Allens requested were in Section I (as in the capital letter i). she wrote:
"There are over 100 Allenís buried in different areas of the cemetery.
You are correct the death date of 1849 is too early for Graceland Cemetery. The first burial was in April of 1860. If Paull Allen was moved here at a later date, he should be on our computer list of Allenís. " I am closing your photo request based on this. Regards, Bob Lerch

RE: Harry Harding photo
I think it's interesting to see something of a family member's grave when there is no marker. I can remove the photo if you would like. It really doesn't have historical value, just emotional. I placed the flowers to better show the location. Thank you for your nice message. While the process is fun, it is the end result that is truly gratifying.

RE: Follow up

I don't think they're working on genealogy at the moment, and I haven't been in contact for some time. Sorry I don't have better news. :(

RE: Mares(h) family
Hi Jen,
We have been in contact through Ancestry, Maresh/Slad Family Tree. We are just now getting started building memorials on find a grave.
Take Care,

Hi! In regards to your photo request, can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Oakridge-Glen Oak Cemetery: 708-344-5600

Oakridge-Glen Oak is a huge cemetery with well over 30,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there and take a photo of a grave. I go here regularly, and I should be able to take a picture shortly after receiving the grave location.

Thank you! Ace

RE: Albert Harding headstone
All the headstones are basically the same, the state purchased them. It has his name year of birth & death & plot #. It needs to be raised, the stone itself is in good shape.

RE: Follow up

I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to get in touch with them yet. Thanks for the reminder. I'll try to get back to you soon. I know how the prospect of new information can be very exciting. :)
