I was born Janice Harmon to Melba & Dean Harmon in Tracy, CA. I lived there until I was 19 years old, when I moved to Olympia, WA. I still live there 42 years later! My grandparents, Edwin & Clara Harmon, as well as my uncle & aunt, Clifford & Jerry Harmon lived close by.

My dad was born in Blackfoot, Idaho; my mother in Daniels, Idaho, but they lived the most of their married life in Tracy. I had an older brother, MelDean, who passed on in 2001, only 3 months after our mother.

I really enjoy genealogy, but the families of both my parents have been traced back many generations. So, lately I have been researching my husband's family: Webbers, Whites, and Grahams--all out of Canada. It's a challenge, but we know much more than we did six months ago!
