Bio

My forefathers arrived in Philadelphia on December 26, 1874 from the area of Volhynia, a province in Russia. Within this group of immigrants the Becker, Buller, Eck, Jantz, Koehn, Nachtigal, Ratslaff, Schmidt, Unruh, Voht, and Wedel families settled in Kansas. My grandfathers family migrated from Kansas to Oklahoma in 1894 and during WWII my father came to work for North American Aviation in Dallas, Texas. There, he began our family. Our Texas family was Eck, Terry - Chandler - Litchfield. My family is Eck, Baker - Woody - Pope.
The internet, with its numerous Geneology websites and tools, has yielded many opportunities to collect and share the stories of my ancesters legacy and to maintain their memories.
