I am a descendant of Esek Ryno, patriot of the American Revolution, Essex, NJ. through my maternal line. My grandmother Frances was born to Josephine Ryno Saunders and Charles Saunders (Alderney, Guernsey,UK)
Gr. Gr. G. Corra Ryno (1809)/Anna Eliza Smith Ryno(1820), parents of Josephine Ryno. Corra Ryno is the grandson of Esek Ryno and Phebe Marsh. Corra Ryno's parents were Abram Ryno and Sibil Dolbeer (daughter of Patriot Jesse Dolbeer ).

I am also a descendant of John Yerkes, Sr. Patriot of the Revolution, from NY, through his granddaughter Hannah Bogart Yerks. The rest of my paternal side is from Moville, Inishowen,Donegal, with a proud Irish heritage. My mother told me the Rynos which she pronounced Ree-know'. Find A Grave is a wonderful site, which has enabled me virtually visit many relatives when I can't go to the actual gravesite.
