I have been doing our family tree since 1992, started in Missouri,,,there are alot of family around this country, my main family is Moore; Galantine; Hoffman; Cunningham; Fowler; Downen,,I have taken photo's at the local cemetery here in Newport, Wa. and a lonely country cemetery at Usk, Wa. I did this because my grandson was in football for 2 hours every day so I had to find a hobbie..but when I went to the cemetery I found a relative,,,,,,,,that was it,,,,,,,I remember my father, who also did genealogy, telling me that one of his Aunts husband died here, so that was the one I found. If any of my photo's are of intrest to you please feel free to copy it.|

|Ruby||America McNolan Downen|
America's maiden name was McNolan (AKA McNoland, Nolan, Nolen and any other variable). She was the daughter of Augustus McNoland (see variations) and Nancy Cox.
The Illinois marriage index is a poor transcription and there is no image online. It says Frank M. Dowen & Mrs. America McWolmel (?) Miner, m.13 Jul 1890 Wayne Co., IL.
I have yet to find the marriage of America to a Miner. She was single and still at home on the 1880 census so she obviously married first between 1880-1890. If I ever come across that marriage, I will let you know. After what the poor lady apparently went through, she deserves to at least have her identity correct.

to me? She is my aunt and I have added information for family members. Thank you. Lee Ann Van Vleet
|Larry Parker||RE: George Gue portrait|
Thanks for making room for me to add the man's portrait. That photo is pretty clear and sharp for being made in the 1800s:
I forgot to post the link to your photo:
|Karen M.||Thank you Mary|

|Kathy Franks||Aunt Verne|
Thanks for adding the pictures of Aunt Verne to her memorial. I was trying to think last evening if I had any that I could add, those are great of her and Uncle Wally. Kathy
I noticed you added a family photo of John Evans, and just wondered which line you are from? Looking for more family!
My line is through Ezer and Mary's daughter Sarah, who married Wm Stockham. And another Stockham married Andrew "Pete" Evans, who we knew as Uncle Pete.
Look forward to hearing from you!
