Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and brought up in Wales but now live in Lincoln England. I started genealogy in 2002 and now have my family back to 18c. I stumbled across this site whilst tracing American relatives and found lots of help and information.
Through the findagrave forum I'm involved in projects to leave flowers on all memorials that don't currently have any, please don't assume I'm a relative because I left a flower or sponsored a memorial and please don't transfer without asking.

Please make yourself aware of the Frequently Asked Questions - Site Rules. Note the naming section with instructions for use on memorials #147. (Prefixes & Suffixes in the name fields are not allowed and mess up the search engine from working properly.) This site covers World Wide cemetery and burial information, some choices offered for Prefixes and Suffixes (Prefixes/Suffixes/Military Information)#148 might not match exactly your countries customs. The last name field should not be left empty as the search engine requires a query by last name. Other characters like *, --, (), {}, ~, ..., ?, "" or numerals, are not allowed in the name fields as they are not recognized by the search engine making the name un-searchable. Maiden names are automatically italicized. The naming rules (not Guidelines) exist for good reasons. LOTS of good reasons. Titles of any kind are not allowed in any name field. Within the new Edit system if you get a request with "Unknown" in RED within a field, then that field would be empty. (It will not put the word Unknown in that field.)

Thank you so much for the picture -- it would have been a bit difficult to grab it myself from this side of the pond. :)

Thanks!

Thanks for that. The burial register for Andrew and Elsie just has Canwick Road cemetery at the top so that isn't clear either way. Do you have a map that we could see that would state where A 1712 is situated

Regards

Steve

Thank you very much, Out of curiosity how do you go about viewing the plot indexes for the Newport Cemetery?

Arthur John Molson
It was quite the surprise finding the tombstones of my great aunt Alice Ann Molson and her brother, my great uncle Arthur John Molson and the names of their parents, my gg grandparents John and Susan Molson. John Molson was a railway man born in Boston, Lincolnshire and he and his wife Susan Kirk moved frequently and were in Derby by 1871. It must have been painful for them to have left the graves of their children behind when they moved. Your photo is the first I have ever found of my Molson family in England. I'll try and use some photo editing software to help me see all the words on the grave. Thank you for all the work you have done.

RE: Freda Nellie May Hall
Hi,
Yes you are correct. Maiden name is spelt CADY not Cade. That was my mistake & I didn't realize my spelling mistake until after I went back to the profile page & then I couldn't go back & change it. Thanks for making the correction.
Regards

William Bilby
You took a photo of the gravestone of William Bilby. I think the stone also has on it the name of his wife Jane. Could you please look at your photo and let me know the date of death of Jane if you can see it - I can't get the photo clear enough to read and would appreciate your help. Kind regards patricia.
