Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and brought up in Wales but now live in Lincoln England. I started genealogy in 2002 and now have my family back to 18c. I stumbled across this site whilst tracing American relatives and found lots of help and information.
Please don't assume I'm a relative because I left a flower or sponsored a memorial and please don't transfer without asking.

Please make yourself aware of the Frequently Asked Questions - Site Rules. These do tend to change often. Note the naming section with instructions for use on memorials. Prefixes & Suffixes in the name fields are not allowed and stop the search engine from working properly. This site covers World Wide cemetery and burial information, some choices offered for Prefixes and Suffixes (Prefixes/Suffixes/Military Information) might not match exactly your countries customs. The last name field should not be left empty as the search engine requires a query by last name. Other characters like *, --, (), {}, ~, ..., ?, "" or numerals, are not allowed in the name fields as they are not recognized by the search engine making the name un-searchable. Maiden names are automatically italicized. The naming rules (not Guidelines) exist for good reasons. LOTS of good reasons. Titles of any kind are not allowed in any name field. Within the new Edit system if you get a request with "Unknown" in RED within a field, then that field would be empty. (It will not put the word Unknown in that field.)

RE: James Howard
The grave is still in the grounds of the Church, regardless who runs it.

Hello, my 2x great grandfather, Christoper Joseph Divall is said to be buried in this cemetery - B3379. When you have an opportunity, could you check and see if there is a headstone? Date of birth 14 May 1838, Kent - died 10 July 1892. His wife was Mary Anne Walsh born 1835 and died 1902.
Thanks, Eunice

Newcombes at Higher Cemetery
I visited this morning, ... unfortunately memorial behind, (back to back rows) has suffered a bit of subsidence and is leaning backwards. To stop it pushing the Newcombe's memorial over a stake has been inserted in front. Straightening the other memorial would have been a better solution to the problem. Photos will be added later today.
