I became hooked on genealogy after marrying my wife. We have traced several of her family branches to the 17th century in the colonies and back to the UK and Germany. Her USA roots begin in Barnwell County, SC and others in Virginia. With many trails to follow I expanded our tree and augmented my data with information from Findagrave and other sources.

We are most interested in the Stokes who settled in NW GA and where they came from. The German Croft family which came to Barnwell, SC and spread to southern GA and northern FL. The Mosteller family, also from SC, NW GA, and then Texas and WV.
