Wow, what a winter...I'm feeling so cabin feverish and cant wait to get back on the pavement. The mental reward was so great last year. I'm so excited. My spirit is looking forward to assisting you. |
As you may know, on Dec 5, 2010, my only daughter passed at age 20. In order to keep busy, Ive took on this project. So again this year, my camera in hand and my sneakers laced up. This is totally a hobby, if you will. I am not related in any form to the people I assist in locating, although I do search continually my own relatives... :) I'm completely willing and happy to transfer memorials and info collected to family of the deceased, just make me aware. Thx & Have a wonderful warm year...oh yea, be sure to search my 'Contributor's Records' regularly for updates. Also check 'My Cemeteries' and my virtual 'Soul Of Soldier' cemetery for other posted memorials.
Happy 2014! -A brand new year, with brand new goals. Its been a long winter, and I'm anxious to get to stepping (when the weather is permitting, of course). The challenges are getting greater, but I'm a survivor and thriver...I look to completing many, many requests and adding tons more memorials. Why? Because who knows what tomorrow bring, and I want to be of assistance in the area of study I appreciate & love..Genealogy! So with that being said, ...Hasta la vista, baby.
P.S. If you could gain an approximate location of the stone within the cemetery, a faster photo maybe acquired.

Thank you for the photo of Charles and Florence Lowry's headstone.

Hi Gina, thank you so much for finding my great great aunt Kate McGilvray. I have discovered that her death date is actually 1894, based on her husbands's bio in the link below. Do you know if Oakwood Cemetery has records that would detail her cause of death? She was only 35! Thanks again.

Thank you for the photos. I have Edward Moser's obit and it said Crown Hill. So now I will call the cemetery to make sure it's right.
Go ahead and put the headstone photo om his page. Maybe it was done as a memorial to him..
Thank you so much for the photos.

Dear miss Jean,
my name is Erwin de Mooij and I am the content webmaster for the 457th Bomb Group Association website.
At this moment I am working on a virtual cemetery/memorial on the website honering all 339 KIA/MIA/KIS of the group.
I saw your picture of Stephen Gallucci's grave marker and I was wondering if I could use it for the memorial. If you made any other photos of 457th BG members would I be able to use these too?
We would greatly appreciate it.

|Joel Davison||Harvey Blott & Lathrop Palmer in Oakwood|
First, regarding the transfer of Harvey Blott in Oakwood; thank you, though I do not recall asking for management. He is not a relative.
Maybe I submitted a Suggest-A-Correction for him. However, I do not mind maintaing it unless you would like it back.
Second, I deleted my duplicate of Lathrop Palmer.
Thank you for all your hard work in indexing and photographing Oakwood! That is a huge project!
Have a great day.
