A recent genealogy buff. Going through all my mothers genealogy stuff got me going. Find A Grave has been a great resource and I want to pay back for all the great information I have received.|

Its me again, cleaning up more old photo requests. Per the church's online burial index Rochelle appears to share a grave with her father Joseph F. DeJarlais, although I'm not clear on how he is her father when he died in April 1986, and she died in April 1987. Anyway, there's a headstone photo for Joseph on his memorial page 53649698. Would you please remove the photo request for Rochelle when you get a chance? Thanks again. Oh, and I put in an edit request to update her middle name to Marie.

I suspect your 2014 memorial page is a duplicate of one created in 2006 for Godfrey. See 13911595. The photo of the headstone spells his name as DeJarlis, but he is listed on the church's online cemetery burial index as DeJarlais. See https://saintvdphps.techni-serve.com/Home.html and select the Public Search tab.
I'm one of the photo volunteers in the area and was going over these old requests. Note that there's also a Godfry DeJarlais, buried in 1888, and possibly his wife? Ameray, buried in 1874. I created a mem page for Godfry today.
So if the 2006 memorial page, with data and photo, works for you, could you please remove your photo request when you get a chance? Thanks a bunch. Hope this info was helpful.

Alright I'll look through my pictures again. I've got pictures from the whole cemetery so I should have it.

There is no marker for him but I've attached a picture of his approximate location in the cemetery.

Hello. I looked in namesinstone for all Isherwood's. Only 2 come up.
The name may be misspelled, but those are hard track down. The S plat is enormous and neither of the Isherwood's that do come up are buried in that area.
That won't be necessary. I will be going up to Salem
in the next few weeks so I will just pick it up. I have quite a few to get.
|Alice Morton||Hello Again|
Thank you. Back in the 30's there were so many burials without stones due to the poverty of the time. Lorell probably slipped through the cracks.
We have what we call a lost list of about 300 people that their obituary or death record states that they are at Laurel Grove but we have no record of them. I will add him to the list. Again, thanks
|Alice Morton||Hello Debbie|
Back in 2013 you put Lorell Jackson on findagrave in the Laurel Grove Cemetery. We have no record of him being in the cemetery and I was wondering where you may have gotten that information. Our records go back to 1855 and we have an extensive collection of books, folders etc. and his name does not appear anywhere. If you have some sort of record would you please let me know so I can add it to our records. Thank You
Laurel Grove Cemetery
