I was born in Pasadena, Harris County, Texas but my home now is in North Texas. I am on a neverending search for information about my core families: Putman, Lewis, McCulloch, Reeves in Navarro and Hill County Texas.
The ancestors on this side of the family are from North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi and Texas. Every time I go visit family in Navarro County, I take my camera and visit a few cemeterys going both ways.

Also on a quest for information on the Calame & Campbell, Barnes familes from Limestone and Freestone Counties. Some census indicate Leon county too. The Calame's are from Switzerland then Illinois, then rail car to Freestone County, Wortham, Texas.

Additionally I am searching for ancestry information for my children and grandchildren on the Thacker Family from Pike County, Kentucky.
