I am currently researching my paternal lineage, which is Hammon/Meyer, both from Germany and maternal, which is Grime/Grant, from France and ?. All of my family settled in the Defiance, Henry, Fulton, Sandusky counties and surrounding areas, with some moving north into Michigan.

I am also researching my husband's family, which is McCarty/Ament, from Ireland and Germany, and Aldahl/Hagen, both from Norway. Both families settled originally in Minnesota, primarily, and eventually moved westward to California.
