Because God knocked on the door of my home when I was very young, and asked my Grandfather to go Home with Him, and shortly thereafter, knocked again and asked my Mother to go Home, then very few years later, knocked yet again asking my Father Home, I spent a good deal of time in cemeteries. After Mother died I would go to the cemetery, sit beside her grave, and talk to her. I would drag my friends out there with me, riding our bicycles, and we'd play beside Mama.
It served to give me a great respect for cemeteries, for the people who lay in them and for the family who visited.
I have always enjoyed kicking around graveyards, straightening stones where I could, pulling weeds, trimming grass back, reading headstones and wondering about all the people. Now, with FAG there is a reason to photograph the stones, to record the information on them along with the memories they represent.

The family names I'm researching are Wolf/Wolff/Woolf/Wolfe, Chatelain, Filler/Fuller/Fueller, Weippert, Ferdig, Holbrook, Shelledy/Shellady/Shilledeay, DeLong, Watkins, Volkmann, Bubb/Bopp, Baker, Tool and many, many others. It took a great many people to make ME!

I live near Cody, Wyoming. If anyone needs research done in this area, I'll see if I can help!
