Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy is very addictive but not having the final resting place for a member of our families can be very disappointing. I hope to have many ancestors of both mine and my husbands side of the family listed for future generations. Many burial locations are family
cemeteries that will be eventually lost due to overgrowth and lack of care for the sites. Hopefully this will help others looking for
their family.

Let us not forget
those who came before us -
Their lives,
however long or brief,
touch us all in so many ways

Let us learn
from those who came before us -
Their experiences,
however exciting or mundane,
have shaped our world today

Let us honour
those who came before us -
Their legacy,
however great or small,
is ours to carry forward

Ernest H. Kratz grave marker
Dear Colleen,

Thank you so much for taking these four pictures of the Ernest H. Kratz grave marker! They are just what I wanted! Yes, I also got his obit recently, and learned that he was pretty "high up" with the Masonic system!

Colleen, do you live in Tampa? I'd like to include your name in my list of "Acknowledgements" for people who have helped me complete this chapter in our family history. Kindly let me know, and thanks again!

Bellingham, WA

Greetings Colleen,
Sorry I didn't leave a note yesterday. I walked the sections with one of the caretakers, "Sammy" ,who had a plot map, so the locations should be quite accurate. He was quite helpful and thorough. I did a quick rubbing on the marker and was able to make out the name Mary and Woods. Sorry there isn't more. It was disappointing to me also.

Photo requests St Mary's
Hello Colleen,
I did a pretty hard walk thru section M and didn't find anyone. I'll be down that way Monday or Tuesday, I think, and I'll go thru M & O hard again.

Photo requests St Mary
I spoke to the caretaker at St. Mary's on Mt Troy road and he said there is no section M, only number designations. St. Mary's in Sharpsburg has a section M but the markers are newer than what you're looking for. Please reply
As always, Regards'

RE: Catherine Corriveau
Do you have the name of the gentleman she was dating? Le champ d'honneur, Pointe Claire is where servicemen are buried (not far from the cemetery I went to today). Many of the servicemen have loved ones buried with them. If your relative is buried with him, she will have a marker below his. I would be happy to follow up.

I once had contact with you regarding a Conway request. I recently added 19 Conways to Saint Eugene Catholic Cemetery in Ontario. This is very near Montreal. Not sure if they may be related to you. Best regards Robert

Di Dia
I notice that you mention in your bio that most of the memorial that you have done are family. What can you tell me about Isidoro Di Dia? I have been researching the Di Dia family all and most of the Di Dia and/or DiDia in the U.S. I have found my cousins by tracing my great grandfather and his brothers, and trace his brothers family. I have located them from Knoxville, Tenn to Sandusky, Ohio and San Diego, California. My grandfather and his brothers changed their last name from Di Dia to Dee to avoid discrimination. I am currently running a website called the
