Bio

I was born and raised out in the b~u~t~ful area southeast of L A, Bellflower, CA. My daddy was Portuguese, so that is where most of my genes searching is concentrated. Mom is all kinds of mixed up, with some German, English, and I think it's Scottish, possibly Welsh.
My dh's family is from OH & N Y, so I am also doing some of my searching there as well.
We don't have children of the two~legged variety;
ours are the four~legged type, specifically, k9s.
At present we are being blessed by two gals: Lucy Rose, a X btwn Border Collie & Sheltie, she mostly resembles the Sheltie side; she has
a lovely, silky, soft coat of mostly gold, with a black saddle, and she's about 11 3/4 y o.
Then, there is Katy Jo, a lovely little Catahoula Dog, X'd, we believe with a Lab. She's kinda black/gray/brown; she just turned 3 y o, late July, 2015. They are both the light of our lives, we can't begin to imagine life w/o either one. Lucy was in the OKC shelter; and 11 years after adopting her, we adopted Katy, from the same shelter, via PetSmart!
In addition to being genes addicted, I'm also addicted to scrapbooking, and cannot wait to get some pages done, that have married these two fun hobbies together!

We live about 20 minutes out of the OKC metro, and really do love it here, most of the time.

So, that's me, RITA, in a nutshell!
