I was a military "brat" and did not grow up around family. After college, I joined the Army and spent a few yrs overseas in the the Army Nurse Corps. I've been in San Antonio for 18 yrs now, the longest I ever lived anywhere! Now that I've retired, I enjoy volunteering, trying to find all those elusive ancestors and my grandbaby. So many people have helped me with my research, I'm just "playing it forward".
