As a photo hobbyist, I had a desire to record grave markers in order to help build a database of them. The idea of cataloging graves and posting the list had come to me, and I had wished that such a web site existed. It was by accident that I found FindAGrave on the web. It didn't upset me that my idea was not original. Rather, I am glad that this site exists, and I plan to help 'grow' the existing database.
