Bio Photo Hi, folks!
I like to share the photos and data from my research with others, obviously, but I go to great expense with time and travel to obtain much of this, and I own many of the portrait photos, including original tintypes.

For this reason, I ask you for the courtesy of leaving my name attached as the original source of the material. When others view YOUR posting of my images and research on Ancestry or elsewhere they often want to contact the person who owns the image or did the research at the archives and other repositories. I can't help folks who can't reach me.
Cheers! Nancy

Check my changes
I could not access your family tree at Ancestry.com because I am not a member. I did make some changes and data additions. Please see if they line up with your information.
For memorial 74479728 and her parents.

My wife's mother is the daughter of Farris Dillard, son of Albert and Pearl Dillard. My mother-in-law gave me most of the information off the top of her head.

Sincerely,

Joseph Clark

RE: Paisleys buried at Ann Hummer Cemetery
Thanks. That was very interesting. I moved to this location not too long ago. As I go through the cemeteries I will add the "Paisley". There are many and a lot have not been added to "find a grave" yet.

McAdow
The David McAdow I posted in Mount Gilead Cemetery in Bond Co IL, is not the same person.
hers:David King Mcadow 1809 TN- 1870 TX
mine:David C McAdow 1795 TN - 1874 Bond Co IL
Nancy Wright was first married to unknown Nelson, she had 3 children by him: Elizabeth, Frances and John Nelson
*The marriage between David C McAdow and Nancy Wright Nelson(1812 TN- 1850 Bond Co IL), was 1844 in TN* They had 1 son together: David H McAdow 1845 TN- 1913 Vernon Co MO.
He married Mary C Hunter in 1850 in Bond Co IL.
Mary C Hunter McAdow 1815 IL- 1863 Bond Co IL, had never previously been married, and was 35 when her only child: Nancy Isabel McAdow was born April 1852 Bond Co IL (married: James Jackson) died 1932 Arkansas Co AR.
I do believe David C McAdow had a marriage previous, before Nancy Wright Nelson, but as of this writing have no name or date...
I just think the person who made the memorial and attached Nancy Wright Nelson to the OTHER David McAdow made a simple mistake. There is NO proof that MY David and Nancy were EVER in TX...
clear as mud? hope this helps and does not confuse further...

Harriet Harris,
All we can tell you is that we took our photo at Park Lawn, Danvers, Illinois. We have never been to the other cemetery.

Al Simmons
I have a pic. of an Al Simmons in Head Simmons but the dates on the stone are 1862-1950. I am thinking that the dates on the memorial were entered wrong. Let me know what you think before I claim the request.

Mary McCormick - State Line Cemetery, Arkansas
I live about 200 miles from the Stateline Cemetery that Mary McCormick is buried in. I have been there twice. The photo on her memorial was taken many, many years ago. There is no markings on any other side of the obelisk. I am a direct descendant of Mary and Andrew McCormick. I have searched many years for Andrew James McCormick. If you have done any research on this family you know that he disappears off of census records after 1880. When Mary McCormick appears again, she and the children have all moved to Fulton County, Arkansas. I have been to the county courthouse in Pulaski County Missouri where they lived in the 1860s and 1870s and there are no records surviving that far back due to a courthouse fire (go figure!). So, I am stumped on his death and where he is buried. I'm sorry that I can't be of more help.
