I like to share the photos and data from my research with others, obviously, but I go to great expense with time and travel to obtain much of this, and I own many of the portrait photos, including original tintypes.
For this reason, I ask you for the courtesy of leaving my name attached as the original source of the material. When others view YOUR posting of my images and research on Ancestry or elsewhere they often want to contact the person who owns the image or did the research at the archives and other repositories. I can't help folks who can't reach me.

Hi Nancy, you are very welcome , I haven't looked at the camera photos yet, Wayne went today while I was working, he's as addicted as me. We try to take as many that are lying on the ground because this is the best they will ever be. Lots of rain this year but not any severe ( or too bad ) Best Wishes, Wayne and Connie
I am a direct descendant of John Paisley. Our family still owns part of the Paisley Farm. Thanks for all the info and pics you have found. I saw the one picture of the Paisley Family Bible. Do you know who has that?

Thanks so much, Nancy, for your kind and quick reply! I will be happy to help your friend with any information I have.
I have sent an email to you at the address you provided and included a bio for Jacob Boucher/Lacy McDowell, as well as a transfer request for her memorial. Thank you very much for the offer! As I said in my email, you are a credit to Find-A-Grave. It is wonderful to meet lovely people like you here.

|Sheila||RE: William F. Osborn, 141928072|
Thank you Nancy for getting me in gear, because I certainly needed to update his memorial. Also I absolutely hate sending anyone a decline for an edit, so I appreciate you being so gracious about it. If I learn of any more details of their time in Adams Co., I'll let you know.

|Sheila||William F. Osborn, 141928072|
Hi Nancy - Wanted you to know reasons for declining edits of William's birth county and spelling of last name. William does have a headstone, which is spelled Osborn and same on his parents' headstones. Also, the 1911 marriage record to Ida, an 1892 biographical sketch, his 1890 Civil War pension application, 1880 census, 1875 marriage record to Emily, the 1870 and 1860 censuses and other places all have Osborn. The biographical sketch written in 1892 specifically states the Osborn family moved to Adams County in 1837 and lived there for 14 years before selling their land and moving to Brown County. There's no mention of Pike Co., but I'll definitely look into this further. I've made notation of this difference on William's memorial. Thanks for bringing it to my attention and for all you do as well. Take care.

No problem! Hope you enjoy Findagrave!

Sorry, but I need a birthday source independent from that calculated from the age and death date on the stone. As stated in my profile, I don't calculate birthdates like that because of the high probability of error. Hope you understand.
