Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi, folks!
I like to share the photos and data from my research with others, obviously, but I go to great expense with time and travel to obtain much of this, and I own many of the portrait photos, including original tintypes.

For this reason, I ask you for the courtesy of leaving my name attached as the original source of the material. When others view YOUR posting of my images and research on Ancestry or elsewhere they often want to contact the person who owns the image or did the research at the archives and other repositories. I can't help folks who can't reach me.
Cheers! Nancy

John William "Bill" Paul
John William "Bill" Paul is my husband's gr-grandfather. His grandmother is Sarah Frances Minerva Paul (1889-1943) who married Jesse Isaiah "Bob" McPherson and died in LA. Was delighted to receive your request to add his birthdate to the findagrave memorial. Has a permanent marker ever been added to his grave?

Please email me to exchange additional information. Thanks so much!

RE: David & Elizabeth Sprinkle
Now if we could only gather together enough documentation to prove that David was the son of old Henry, we could establish a new DAR patriot ancestor. Henry paid the 1783 personal property tax in VA, so that qualifies him as a patriot.

David & Elizabeth Sprinkle
Hello cousin Nancy. Thank you for your comments. I can tell you, it was such a surprise when I was contacted about David's gravestone "resurfacing." I just knew then that Elizabeth's had to be there too. It took three trips from IL to OH to reach the cemetery. It is located in a very hilly, rural area and you have to cross a stream to get into the cemetery. The first time we tried, it started snowing and we were afraid we would get stuck on the back roads. The next time it had been raining and the stream was up over the banks and we were afraid to attempt to ford it. But fortunately, the third time was the charm. You can't imagine my delight when the probe hit something solid. I started shaking like a leaf!

RE Mitchell and Mitchell
Hi Nancy,
Yes I do you mean William Jones Mitchell (1818-1895) 70161482 and Mary Mitchell (1817-1896) 70161905.
If you could transfer them I would appreciate it very much. Sorry I wasn't clear. I'm learning. Nice write ups BTW.

Mitchell and Mitchell
Hi Nancy,
Do you mean William Jones Mitchell (1818-1895) and Mary Mitchell (1817-1896)? They are my 2nd great grandparents. Both were born in Gwinear, Cornwall. They sailed out of St. Ives (7 Apr 1842), arriving (23 June 1842) at Lewiston NY. I've been in Gwinear and found a Mitchell headstone used as a faucet splash-pad.

Geo & Nettie POQUETTE
Hi Nancy,
I think you are my 3rd cousin, once removed. I am assuming that Raymond Glen Poquette is your father. Am I correct? Glen is my 3rd cousin.
Nettie G Mitchell is my 1st cousin, twice removed. Her father, Thomas Ward Mitchell is my great granduncle. Thomas's brother, Richard John is my great grandfather.
I've filled in some gaps for you.
Thanks for filling in gaps for me.
I'm a bit new to Find-a-Grave.
