I like to share the photos and data from my research with others, obviously, but I go to great expense with time and travel to obtain much of this, and I own many of the portrait photos, including original tintypes.
For this reason, I ask you for the courtesy of leaving my name attached as the original source of the material. When others view YOUR posting of my images and research on Ancestry or elsewhere they often want to contact the person who owns the image or did the research at the archives and other repositories. I can't help folks who can't reach me.

No problem! Hope you enjoy Findagrave!

Sorry, but I need a birthday source independent from that calculated from the age and death date on the stone. As stated in my profile, I don't calculate birthdates like that because of the high probability of error. Hope you understand.
|Heather Phelon||Any information on Sydney Davey?|
Anna Davey is my 2nd great grandmother and I have been doing research on the Davey family. I've been searching and searching for information on her brother, Sydney Davey and how/when/where he died. The only source I have found about Sydney is in the 1880 census. I would LOVE more information or sources on Sydney if you have anything. Thanks!
I have deleted the duplicate memorial for John Clark. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

I was doing some "Whitney" entries and noticed that you have contributed some of the info. I just wondered how you are related to the Whitney's.
My dad was the son of Hubert Wood Whitney: Hubert's half brothers were Charles Percival and Frank Noriden Whitney: their children were my dad's cousins.

Yes, I love that website. Don't you wish all states were so helpful! I found a bunch more on Arthur Comer and his first wife. She was Mary Peebles. She has a memorial at Find A Grave, so I sent a request for her maiden name to be added and for the memorial to be link to Arthur's. I saw some online trees that, unfortunately, merged her and Maria(h) Alice McNary into one woman. Arthur and his first wife married in 1866, so that is indeed where that 34 years married comes from on the 1900 census. The 1900 census does show 7 kids for Maria Alice, which I think is correct. I was wondering if Maria Alice might have died in FL, but I don't see her on the FL Death Index. Daughter Kathryn Comer Pratt, with whom she was living in FL in 1940, remained in FL, so Maria Alice must have moved in with another child in OK before she died. You can e-mail me at MLSopp@me.com Just checked and we are 4th cousins, once removed.

FYI.....I added photos of their headstones today. If you are related, I'd be happy to transfer the memorial for Rose.
