I was born in Beverly, Mass into a family that took grave tending very seriously. Many of my earliest memories are of being with my parents planting flowers and tending the graves of many past family members. In my elementary school years I would walk through the Central Cemetery morning and evening every day to get to school and back. The only thing that ever bothered me was seeing stones where the names were either gone or almost gone. It is the loss of a person all over again. I would like to play a small part in preserving some of these links to the past.
