My family is originally from Independence County, Arkansas. My research includes the surnames of Keller, Driskill, Pool (also VanPoole), and Thomison. I visit my hometown on a regular basis and have been to numerous cemeteries, including St. John's cemetery in Union County, Ill. where the Pools migrated to from Rowan County, NC.
