Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am very interested in geneology, but most of our family is on the east coast. We would like to help others find their ancestors in central Illinois. My husband Wayne goes with me so we have an extra set of eyes. Feel free to use pictures on or wherever you like..that's why we do this :)

It is with a very heavy heart that I made a memorial for my brother Bob. If you can, please leave him a virtual flower. He was the best brother and my heart is broken.

RE: Chickamauga
hello Connie I wanted to send you a message, I'm not on here as much as I used to be. I will write you back if I find out any information about The Soldier you asked about. Suwanee is in Gwinnett Co. There were many well known Regiments from that area. Chickamauga is one of the largest and best preserved National Battlefield Parks, there is much information written online about it.

Sorry I wasn't more help, I am not near my History files right now. God Bless, Cindy in Georgia.

Susan Wilson
Hi Connie,
Thanks so much for the great photos you added to my Susan's memorial. I truly appreciate that you took the time to go to the cemetery, locate the grave, take the photos, and upload them to my memorial. I particularly appreciate that you added a photo showing that she is buried next to her parents. I live in Maryland, and it's unlikely that I will ever have the opportunity to visit her cemetery in person - I know you understand, as you mention in your bio that your family is buried on the East Coast. Your photos make me feel like I've finally been able to pay my respects properly. It is photo volunteers like you that inspired me to photograph cemeteries near my home, even though I have no relatives buried here. I hope to help others the way you've helped me. Thank you again for your generosity.

Thanks Connie, I really appreciate your trying to full fill my request. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of you volunteers that walk cemeteries for those of us that can't. I live in California and can't do it myself

RE: Renault

I did a photo request for St. Mary's Cemetery in Renault, Monroe County, IL. There are also some others for that cemetery. I am not sure if this person is now related since I now know, in later censuses his name is Albert Charles, not Charles, so I think I may remove the request.

Thanks for getting back to me.

13th Generation Fairbanks in America
RE: Gates of Heaven
Thanks so much for your kind words about the work I have done in Gate of Heaven. It's very rewarding to learn that people are finding those they seek. I'm now starting on Berlin Cemetery on the White Horse Pike, which is another really large one. Maybe you will find additional folks there as I work my way through it. With every name I enter, I'm hoping that someone is on the other end, excited to find someone they're looking for. All the best.

I only put her in the other cemetery since her husband is buried there with his first wife??
so will do obit in the oak grove
?? I thought maybe the death certificate was wrong but since obit says oak hill/?

RE: Clark
The most absolute evidence is from as far back as Maucoupin County Illinois- Randal Clark and Lucy Jane Gray.
