Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am very interested in geneology, but most of our family is on the east coast. We would like to help others find their ancestors in central Illinois. My husband Wayne goes with me so we have an extra set of eyes. Feel free to use pictures on Ancestry.com or wherever you like..that's why we do this :)
I will be happy to transfer any memorials that I have made in Illinois as they are not related to us. Please use the edit tab to do so. Please be patient, I don't always see them right away. Best wishes to all!!

If you have time, please visit my siblings and Mom and Dad. Thanks so much, Connie

RE: William Clark
Nancy Clark's maiden name was Gorham. Birth 28 Sep 1783, death 17 Dec 1846. She was William T Clark's mother, and his father was Abner Clark.

As a child, he witnessed the Battle of Guilford Courthouse from the rooftop of a relative's home, during the American Revolution. His father, Thomas Clark fought for the US, and died before the Battle of Guilford Courthouse, date and place unknown.

Gotta run, the flooring guys are here.

Connie,
I would leave both monuments as they are. When I get moved into my new house Thursday and get my desktop set up, I can post that page to Mt. Sterling monuments as well. The bodies are at Tinnen still, but the stones are at Mt Sterling, so future generations searching for them can find the explanation @ whichever they first seek out.

RE: William Clark
Connie, go to Tinnen Cemetery in Findagrave.com. I have posted a page explaining that mystery of the two headstones at the side wall. Thanks for the gorgeous photos!

Thank you so much for posting headstone photos for Clarence and Nola E (DeWitt) Curran. These photos have already helped confirm and expand my genealogical information for them.

Aaron Parker
Thank you. I don't know who Aaron's wife is. I think that Aaron is my 3x's great grandfather, but I don't know anything about the Parker line at all. He had a daughter Nancy Parker who married my 2x's great grandfather John Huddleson. I have not found Nancy's grave as she died quite a long time before her husband, so she is not buried with John. Thanks again! Jan
