Born & raised in Houston, Texas. Now living in Louisiana but "once a Texan, always a Texan"!Love researching my family: Henckel, Harman, Smith, Lewter, Worrell, Howard and Rand to name a few!|
Also my husband's family: Shinn, Travis, Gill & Collins.
A special thank you to the ones who have taken photos for me of my loved ones' gravestones. I try to personally thank each of you but if I fail to do so, please know how much your time & work are appreciated!
Photos are for sharing so feel free to use any photos I have uploaded. Just give the credit to "Terry".

You can definitely use the photo and you don't need to give credit. I was at the cemetery watering flowers at my parents grave and took a look at the photo requests. Found the Lenora Wagner site after just looking for a couple minutes.

You are most welcome to use my photos. No need to give me credit. Just FYI, I do not know if he is buried here or not, since there is no date of death on his stone. Sometimes these date plates come off, but his does not look like there was ever one on it.

I added a pic of a page from a "book" Early Karnes County Families* to John Crockett Collins' Memorial. It shows that John Crockett is indeed buried in Choate Cemetery. It also shows that he married Miss Mary Cole but he actually married Miss Maria Solis (relative of Gregorio Solis, probably siblings). *The book was compiled by Charlotte A. Nichols who was a member of Karnes County Historical Society, El Cibolo Chapter, NDSR. Available on the Texas Gen Web Karnes County page.
