Bio

I am married and served my country in the Air Force during the Vietnam Era. With its hup two three four, I closed the military door to choose my family of four.
I have read books that define life as being a journey. I have even read a book that described life as being what happens when you are planning something else.
I strongly believe life comes from and through our geneology roots. That is why I am searching my family. And that is when I discovered the Find A Grave website. I am aware that it is not the primary purpose of the website, but due to the work of its contributors, I have been able to find alot of my ancestors that have passed on. So, I personally want to thank all who have contributed! Thank YOU very much!!! The other reason that I love Find A Grave is because I am not physically able to be there the contributors taking those photos make it comforting to me as if I could be visiting the grave and showing my respects. Again Thank YOU that do that! Those who place the obits, thank you as I learn more of my family line to see that Life is going on.
I already knew that I had American Indian in my blood line from my maternal grandparents. I just do not know how much as of yet.
In my research, I have discovered that Elisha Parham/Parkam lived on the reservation as Jack and his father was Big Jack when Andrew Jackson ran them off their reservation during the Trail of Tears. I found paperwork that reports Elisha Parham/Parkam as having been 3/4 Cherokee Indian, his father being full blooded and his mother being 1/2.
Now that I am disabled, I have time on my hands to do this research and to learn more of whom I am and where I came from. As I Live Life, Love God, and find more of my family.
