I have been with Find a Grave for almost two years but I not new to searching ancestors. Roaming graveyards goes hand in hand with finding ancestors at least in my family. My father and I started on his family in the late seventies and I'm thinking he knew some cemeteries that haven't made it here yet..|
I have some days I don't get out and about so I'm working on family and several older cemeteries. Please note I am working from old surveys and personal notes made over the years. Corrections and questions are expected.
My photos are either taken by me or one of two friends. FAG has written permission from them for me to use their photos. Anyone has our permission to use these photos for Non Commercial Use. I believe a photo is better than no photo and some of the photos are not the best; I will gladly remove any photo on request.
My main lines are Smith, Barrineau, Altman and Kelly and it is primarily concentrated in the low country of South Carolina.

|Linda DeBenedictis||RE: Aunt Garnet|
I went back for the last few weeks and didn't find an e-mail from you....I even checked my junk file thinking that maybe have gone there because of the security set up on my machine.
I can complete understand getting your feelings together. The same week we lost Aunt Garnet I also lost a 45 years old nephew. He had an aneurysm burst and we are all in a state of shock. Aunt Garnet was buried on Monday and he was buried on Tuesday. God will have to guide all of us through all of this heartbreak. It's the only way I can cope with all of this happening at the same time.

Hi Betty, I haven't gotten a e-mail from you but I was wondering if you could add Aunt Garnets obit to her page. Did you get to her funeral? I usually come down but I had just gotten home from visiting my brother. I would have had to come down late Sunday night and drive back Monday right after the funeral....that's about a 17 hours drive. I met you Dad a few times over the years and may have met you also, but I don't remember.

Hi Betty, I'm not sure if you're related to Garnet but I would love to handle her memorial. She is my Aunt and I have more information I'd like to add.
|Remember me||William Ardis 84363571|
Afternoon Betty, you show William Ardis, memorial number 84363571 as William Ardis II,,,just wondering why you don't recognize him as "Jr.", I attached obit showing that as his name suffix. And technically, his Father is a "Sr." and his son is a "III", so my lessons tell me he is a "Jr.". Now the real reason for the contact this way, I sent an edit the "old" way this afternoon asking "why", about 138pm, and then I got a response from a Betty Shaw about 530pm, that didn't say anything really, just confused me actually. Hoping you might have knowledge about that as well. Thanks Don

Please delete Memorials #83132318 for Hugh Leroy Dubose and #83132085 for Sara Elizabeth DuBose.
The picture that you have in these Memorials is the footstone for Luther LeRoy DuBose (#60259337) and is already included in his pictures.
Hugh LeRoy DuBose already has a Memorial of his own (#66697151) and Sara Elizabeth DuBose is still living.
These duplicate pages are causing Hugh and Sara to show as Luther's siblings when they are his children and as children to Luther's parents when they are grandchildren.
Thanks for your help!
Daughter of Sara Elizabeth DuBose
Good afternoon Betty, look at memorial 105273665, to me that's a true duplicate, even appears to have your photo.

Thank you for your help Betty. Since you were the individual who left a flower for my relative, I thought you were the one I should contact. Thank you so much for the clarification.

I am going to start traveling now to Williamsburg once again seeing the cemeteries I had been too before but since have much more info and also the ones I have not been to. First thing I want to do is find the location of Boggy Swamp Area.
