RE: Cemetery north of Crary
Henrietta Caroline "Carrie" McNamara [1680], daughter of Thomas
McNamara [21386] and Sabra "Sarah" Curtis [21387], was born on 4
Mar 1876 in Belleville, Hastings, Ontario, Canada
, died on 5 Aug
1916 in Crary, Ramsey, ND(1) at age 40, and was buried in Crary,
Ramsey, ND. Another name for Henrietta was Carrie.

She was married to my grandpa's brother, who is buried in Sioux City. I'd like a photo of her grave and of the baby's, if it's there.

******************
Then Peter Hilgers' son, who died before he left for Canada:

General Notes: 10 days old - Listed as John Arthur in the cemetery
at Crary.

Jan. 1917 report from the Crary Public Opinion:
Dr. Cuthberts reports: Born to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hilgers Tuesday
night, Jan. 16, 1917, a boy.

Feb. 1917 report:
The infant baby boy of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hilgers passed away Friday
night at 10 o'clock Jan. 26, 1917, of bronchial pneumonia. The
funeral was held from the Catholic church Monday forenoon, January
29. The parents have the sympathy of neighbors and friends in their
loss.

RE: Cemetery north of Crary
Maybe it IS south of town, ... but I don't think it's been documented, since my relatives who are buried there are not on the site.

Do you live near there?

There are some Hilgers buried there, too, not Vern and Olive, but a son of Pete Hilgers, who died as a child before Pete moved his family to Canada.

RE: Cemetery north of Crary
No, I gave John Wolfe my list - I grew up at that farm; my niece now lives there. I'm talking about the cemetery north of Crary, where my grandpa Henry Rutten's sister-in-law, Carrie Rutten, is buried. She died in 1917 in childbirth. Her daughter, my Dad's cousin Marcella Rutten (Steffan) (Brown) - was 2 years old at the time when her mother died.

Grandpa's brother Frank, Jr. is buried in Sioux City, IA, but not yet listed on Find-a-grave. He was left with 7 children at the time.

Sincerely,
Edith

Do you know whether anyone has a list of this graveyard, and of the graves?

This was my first time photographing a grave! I found this site by accident and was thrilled to find someone had done this for my family members so I plan to continue doing ones I can find near by for others!

Emmaline Hague
I saw on your photo requests that you were looking for Emmaline Hague. She has a memorial and a picture attached. Look up memorial #14089735. The person who entered the memorial made a mistake with the birth year. Its listed as 1883 but s/b 1833. Gook luck with all your searches.

RE: Rufus Clyde Hague
It was easy to miss. I missed it the first time when I took one of his parents headstone. I think because it was just the one name and no last name that made me skip taking it before. Glad we found him. He has a MO death certificate. If you don't know how to find it just let me know and I'd be glad to assist.
