Born in Memphis, TN, but reared in rural Ouachita Parish, LA and graduated from Calhoun High School in 1960. A US Navy veteran and graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Retired from the FBI in 1998 after 25 years of service, serving in St. Louis,MO Washington, D.C., Miami,Fl, Canberra, Australia and Little Rock, AR. Retired as Special Agent in Charge for the FBI for the State of Arkansas. Moved to rural Essex County, VA in 1999.
