RE: Thomas Oscar Bilton
Hello Joe, you are so welcome. It was my pleasure. I got the information of his plot from the Dallas Genealogy Society website. They have updated several older cemeteries with the people buried there. Glad I could help. Happy New Year's!

Carroll Family DNA
Hi Joe,
I've been hoping I would find you again. We met online roughly 2 years ago.
I descend from Amanda Carroll who married William Wesley Smith. I do know a lot more about this line of the family if you are interested. However I wanted to ask you if you have considered DNA testing to see if you (we) can learn more about the branch of the Carroll family we come from. As a direct descendant you are a good candidate. I am currently seeking information about John Bennett in Ohio. My email is sleeplessinraymond@yahoo.com
Thank you for posting family members on findagrave.

RE: Carroll's in Falfurrias Burial ark
I found another headstone with the infants names on it. I took a picture and added it to one of their memorials. I also took a picture standing back from the 3 Carroll headstones with the infant one in between. Thought you might get a better idea of how it looks. I will add or remove any photos you don't want.

You are quite welcome. I also photoed a head stone placed between 2 of the Carroll stones. The last name was Havard and they were infants, a boy and a girl, buried together. I created a memorial for each one. You will find them under the last name Havard. I will transfer them to you if you want. The stone states the father's last name is Carroll.

Joe: Not sure were your roots originate but for myself I was able to find mine in genealogy writings of the New England States. Historical Societies as well along with Soldiers and Sailors of the state who served during ////war.

Joe: Can you tell me if Charles was with the 718th Amphibian Tractor Battalion in the Philippines and Okinawa. My dad was in that unit. Looking for any information of personal accounts on that unit and it's men. 1SG Ross A. Peot USA, retired
