Bio and Links
Bio Photo My husband and I live in Houston, TX. I Became interested in genealogy back in the early 80S, corresponding with a cousin of my fathers in Indiana. Our home flooded in 1989 and I guess I lost interest because so many of my records were destroyed. I did have most of it typed and printed and that was saved. Because of my brother-in-law's interest in what I had gathered on the Matchett family, my interest has been renewed and now I'm doing more research on my own family genealogy - Dunlap.

Newman, George & Barbara
Thank you for sharing the photos of George & Barbara. They are my 4th great grandparents and it is a treasure to know what they looked like.

Thanks for your time and due diligence towards improving Blan's memorial by linking his parents. It is much appreciated.

RE: Keeler Family
From everything I've read, there's only the few stones at the Keeler cemetery. I've tried tirelessly to find out where Emma & Harriet are buried and have yet to had any luck. My guess is that they are buried @ Lewis Creek or Keeler without headstones or perhaps headstones that are no longer ledgible. If I ever run across them I'll let you know :)

I was also wondering if the added photo is of Samuel Jones or Mr. Benson.

If this is Samuel, could I possibly get a copy for my MOL?

Ora & Nancy Jones
I see you added the names of their children, and I'm wondering if their female child is Zora Etta, or is this two different children (Zora and Etta?

Ora C Jones is my Mother-in-Law's great-great grandfather, and he married a lady named Ora Gillespie.

Odd that they both had the same first name.

RE: Date of Death
I have updated Martha's, but I was given the ownership, and haven't actually been to the cemetery so I can't verify what the monument says. But for Samuel, I just noted what you stated in the bio section since again, I didn't add this marker, but was transferred the ownership. However, I did note that he was born July 27, 1749, and your noted that he was 83 years and 10 months, with no days, which would make either the death date May 27, 1833 or his birth date July 17, 1749.

And I agree. I wish someone was able to get photos of these graves. But they may not even be legible anymore. So sad. Thanks.

RE: Date of Death
Hi, Fran! I don't mind doing updates at all, but please request them from the memorial. With so many Jacksons, and I have family records added in 4 different states, it makes it a lot quicker for me to find the right one. Thanks.
