My husband and I live in Houston, TX. I Became interested in genealogy back in the early 80S, corresponding with a cousin of my father's in Indiana. Our home flooded in 1989 and I guess I lost interest because so many of my records were destroyed. I did have most of it typed and printed and that was saved. Because of my brother-in-law's interest in what I had gathered on the Matchett family, my interest has been renewed and now I'm doing more research on my own family genealogy - Dunlap.
I am now a member of DAR with 3 proven patriots and working on 3 more at this time.
