I have been fascinated with ancestry research for years, but only since my retirement from the teaching field have I been able to spend quality time. I recently came across letters that my great grandmother had written while trying to do research to become a member of DAR! Sadly, she never went down the right line!

My own research includes the Lee/Hazlewood, Mills/Craig lines. I have even dug up my husband's GGgrandfather, in the Pennsylvania area.

As a child I remember stopping in cemeteries along the way to Texas to look for deceased relatives! I am still stopping along the way!
