I grew up having picnics in cemeteries while on road trips. We use to take paper and rubbing crayons so that we could rub THE BEST headstone we could find – we found some cool ones. I have found so many wonderful things here at Find a Grave that it is time to try and give back a little so all in all this seems like a good fit. I work at our local library, volunteer at the local historical museum and have friends who have gone whole hog into genealogy and I am catching the fever. I would like to help someone else like me who is just getting started by finding a family members headstone to give them definitive birth and death dates – what a help that has been for me.
