I began genealogy in order to find my grandfather who left when my dad was very young. Well ... you know how it goes. As they say, the rest is history!!!

I'm happy to help others wherever I can. I recently adopted almost 100 memorials when their manager passed. I'm looking forward to adding additional information, although the original contributor did a pretty spectacular job!

IMPORTANT: I happily took on these profiles whose manager had passed in order to contribute to the overall good here. I was very dismayed after the fact to read on several profiles that contributors are not willing to transfer family members that they are not related to, if the requesting person has more profiles they manage than they've contributed. It sure doesn't seem at all kind or fair that my willingness to take on profiles from a deceased member could be turned against me. I think that this serves as a good example of things are not always as they appear, when we do not know the back story. I never even knew that could be a problem! I just want to be helpful in serving this community while honoring loved ones.
