The book is Genius by James Gleick. Richard Feynman was a famous physicist raised in Far Rockaway, Long Island. He worked on the atomic bomb.

I am not related to the Feynmans. I am reading James Gleick's biography of Richard Feynman, son of Melville and brother of Henry. When I read of the father's death and where he was interred, I checked Find-a-Grave and when I found no memorials, I added them. The biography did state they were interred in Richard Feynman's mother's family's mauseleum. I guess if no one has added his mother's memorial when I get to it in the biography, I will add it. Her name was Lucille, I believe. If you are related or have an interest in this cemetery, I will gladly transfer management to you if you ask. Thanks.

RE: Adlers in Bayside
hi.... yes, these are my husband's ancestors... his great grandmother was Hannah Hanau Cantor, and that's the sister of this Esther Hanau Adler.

RE: Bayside Cemetery
My great grandfather was Fabian Sachs Kaliske (aka Fabian Sachs). His daughter, Bella S. Saxe (my grand aunt) married Gabriel Pollack in 1909. I don't know much about 'Uncle Gay' except that I believe he was born in Alsace-Lorraine. So I'm not related to the Pollack family except through this marriage. When I visited my great grandfather's mausoleum a few years ago, I did snap some photos of some of the Sachs relatives I saw in the area. I was just going to start to review those and see which ones, if any, have memorials. While I've been working on genealogy for over 25 years, I've just started putting up some memorials on Find A Grave.

Thanks for your input!

Don't know anything other than what was on the DC. No Kin, just adding people born out of state from the TN Death index.

RE: Sophia Levy in Bayside
Unfortunately I am not related. I was taking a gamble based on the name. My Sophia Levy was married to a Louis Levy. I have family in Ozone/Acacia Cemetery that I know about, so I thought it was possible that this related branch would be nearby. It is very nice to know that if my research takes me to a point where I am more certain of a connection to Bayside that you are there. I wish there were someone like you everywhere! Thanks again.
