RE: Charles Craigmiles
thank you mr krsiean for taking the photo it was beautiful at least it is a photo of charles' marker we can not afford to fly out to prescott. i have never been to arizona. james my husband the son of charles william craigmiles has lived out there with charles in 2001 or so. and in nevada where charles lived on needles hwy outside of las vegas about 100 miles towards kingman arizona where charles died in a nursing home in 2012. i have photos of charles i am going to add. i just dont have a printer. and i can upload them with a digital camera but it would be blurry. my husband james' dad charles divorced james mother when my husband was 4 yrs old. charles left memphis tn. and went out to california and arizona and nevada. and settled in for awhile. and when my husband james craigmiles WAS 25 yrs old he hitchhiked from tennessee to blythe california, and in nevada and kingman arizona with his dad. then my husband left on foot after 3-5 months with his dad and headed out to oklahoma, so he lost track of charles. then my husband met me in 2006 and ask me to track down his biological dad charles william craigmiles. i searched for 5-6 yrs after we got married in 2007. in 2010 i got on ancestry.com looking for him. a lady answered me and said she didn't know where he was but she had dated him after 2001. and would help me find him. i worked for a pharesutical company and was able to look up people in nursing homes. i just put in the name charles william craigmiles date of birth aug 1934. and it popped him up at a nursing home. i contacted the nursing home in 2012. they said he was kingman arizona and was invalid from a stroke . i said would you please tell him his son james and daughter in law melissa was looking for him. I said he didn;t know he had a daughter in law and i wanted him to know. a nurse said he coulden't speak or even comphrend. so she refused and hung up on me. the next month I got a e-mail saying are you charles william craigmiles relative we located you and james on ancestry.com looking for next of kin. we are a funeral home and we have his body ( charles) apparently he was deceased. and we had no funds to fly out to arizona to claim his body. so he had req to the nursing home to be cremated. and put a wall in prescott arizona. the lady who wanted to assist me in finding him was a former girlfriend of his and she sent me about 5-10 pic of him ( he looks just like my husband twins) in looks. we had them copied so we would have many copies of my husband's daddy charles. james my spouse had no photos of his dad or his mother. so I found my husband's step father's sister on ancestry.com and she sent me photos of my husband james' mother who died in 1998 of a heart attack christmas day and was only 50 yrs old. my husband was her only child. and only child by charles. but charles had a older son by another woman, his name is johnny vincent martin, he lives in tennessee and never took the craigmiles name he was adopted by step dad. but he remained close to my husband in tennessee they were half brothers. and charles craigmiles was dad to both james michael craigmiles my husband and johnny vincent martin. thank you so very very much. mitzi gail ( melissa gail rexroat craigmiles in clarksville indiana usa.

RE: Charles Craigmiles
thank you for transferring my husband's dad's memorial to me. charles was apparently a great man. i have photos of him iam going to add on the page. he died in 2012 not knowing his son was searching desperately for him, they had lost track of each other about 2001 or 2002 unknown to my husband james craigmiles. charles had suffered a massive stroke about 2002 or so. and had been in a nursing home in kingman arizona for years. he got where he was unaware of things. i had called the nursing home and ask them to tell him he had a daughter in law. because he didn't know about me, i met his son in 2006 in louisville kentucky. and we married 2007 no children. james wanted desperately to find his biological dad. his parents had divorced when he was 4 yrs old. and he had a step father. charles went out to california and arizona and out to vegas area. when james was 25 he went out to arizona or nevada hitchhiking looking for charles his dad and found him. and they had a bittersweet reunion, then james my husband left his dad 3 months later. and never saw one another again. it means so much to have his memorial. thank you mitzi gail craigmiles ( melissa) and husband james michael craigmiles in clarksville indiana

William Matthew Weaver
LeRoy, Thank you very much for the unexpected transfer of William Matthew Weaver's memorial. In his middle name, Matthew, he carries the name of his grandfather, Matthew Ellsworth Gibson I, and great-grandfather, Matthew Gibson, who was my 3rd great-grandfather. The tradition continues today with Matthew Ellsworth Gibson IV. Blessings, Alice

While researching my distant cousin, William Weaver, I noticed that you created memorials for him in 2012 (99689434) and 2013 (114984917). I will link the 2013 memorial to his mother.

Blessings, Alice

RE: Thank You
In reference to transferring to requestors of corrections and/or additions.

Oops, Charles L Slayton (not my cousin, despite our names, a whole other male line).
