Thanks for the information about my Grandfather.
I was only 3 years old when he passed away, so I
never got to know him.

Thanks again,

Jack Scobey

RE: William Munds
Yes, William Wesley Munds in my Grandfathers brother. My Grandfather is John Franklin Munds, 1858-1916. We were in Oakland, Ia about 5 years ago. I was unable at time to locate any cemetery, so I do know for sure they are buried there. the info I have was handed down to me by an aunt. I always felt that if she did not know, she might make something up. Many years ago I was in contact with a man in Califorinia and he had heard the same stories. If you wish, you can transfer William Munds find-a-grave to me.

You can contact me at

Thank you for your response

Thank you for the information from his Arizona death certificate. I don't know why it says he was removed to an Odd Fellows cemetery in Walla Walla, perhaps a change of mind or just a misunderstanding.

He was originally interred in Claquato Cemetery in Lewis County, WA., removed in 2009 to Masonic Memorial Park in Tumwater. He is next to his grandparents, George and Etta Matheson.

RE: Thank You
I grew up with John Meleen in Frewsburg, NY who as a classmate of mine played in the high school band and sports. For many years our families went to the same United Brethren Church in Frewsburg, NY.

She was my aunt but more like a second mother to me. I loved her very much.

This memorial appears to be a duplicate of 138415089. Also the date of death should be 1908 for Hiram.
