We have been on a search to find out about our family since about 1990.Along with my Brother Bruce we are still doing research today. Names such as Martz,Baer,Bradley,Childs,Landon,Goodwin and so many more. This site has given me the chance to be able to remember those Dear Family members by creating Memorial pages for them. I only hope that more of my Family will check their pages to see how we are all connected together. Thank you to all of you who feel the same way as I do and think it's important to keep those memories alive. God Bless You All.|

|Romanie Murdock||Back in contact with you re Martz|
It's been over twenty years since I moved from Indiana. I met you & your mother, probably shortly before I left. One of my Rex ancestors married a Martz, and that is what brought you and me together.
After I moved, family history was put on the back burner for many years. But I'm now back into it.
When I saw your name in Find-a-Grave, I was excited to see that we could be back in touch. I'm trying to find out if Henry had a brother Solomon Martz who married Eliza Kern Rex (her second marriage).
I wrote you a 2-page letter and sent it to the only address I had for you in Wyoming, Michigan. Guess you've moved, because the letter was returned today. I have lots of things to discuss with you.
If I recall correctly, your father is Floyd Abraham Martz, son of James Eli who is the son of Henry & Sarah.

Not related that I know of, Just like to help others out some, Wish I could get the person that has my great grandparents and some other relatives to transfer them to me. Have asked several times, but no reply and I know they are not related to them.

Hi Cheryl, Yes I am on Ancestry.com and I have my family tree on it. Send me a private message on your home email address and I will invite you to it. It will come over to you as Williams & Mockerman with connecting families.
|KDQ||America Winright Mockerman|
Regarding the previous message about America Winright Mockerman. There is a Michigan Death Certificate # 14144794 giving her date of death as 19 of Feb 1947 at 5:10 a.m. in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
I don't know why there is so much confusion about her date of death.
I will attach the 2006 copy of the death certificate.

Thank you so much for the work you do helping us find information about our relatives.
I was wondering if you could do a correction on the death date for America Winright Mockerman (Find A Grave Memorial# 76039752)?
Her obituary lists her as passing away 14 Nov 1952.
(America's obituary was "published" in the Grand Rapids "Herald" (which later changed to Grand Rapids "Press") on Nov. 16, 1952...Mrs. America Mockerman, aged 84, of 1410 Division Ave., S. passed away early Friday morning at her residence. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Laura Whittemore & Mrs. Flora Earl, both of G.R.: five sons, Ruben Mockerman of Naubinway, MI., George of Sand Lake, Eugene of Stockton, Cal., Stanley of Byron Center, and Howard of G.R.: 27 grand children. Mrs. Mockerman was taken to the Sullivan Funeral Home where services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Morley Cemetery, Morley, MI)
The Find A Grave info is wreaking havoc on my Ancestry.com section for America as the 1930 and 1940 Census sections show her as living but Find A Grave is inputting her as deceased at 67. I would love to keep the Find A Grave link with the updated data.
Thank you for all you do.

Amy is a sweetheart... I am sure you won't have any problem getting them.
|William Kinney||RE: THUNDER family|
Cheryl - I flipped the two Thunder memorials over to my partner Amy V. because she had not reviewed them yet. Once she is done you can check with her about the transfers seeing how she has the connection to the family that I don't have.
|William Kinney||RE: THUNDER family|
I am not related to the Thunder family but my Oakridge Cemetery partner Amy has connections.
|Amy (Decker) Veenendall||RE: Thunder Family|
I'm related to George Kraus, whom married a Barbara (Vornwald) Thunder. She was married to a Thunder first. Would love any additional information you would like to share.
|Anita ||RE: Angie Tammens Baer|
I've heard of the Martz last name. My mother is Faith Alice Nellis Whisenhunt, daughter of Corinne Baer Nellis, daughter of Angie and Dallas Baer. Are you from Kenneth or Geraldine? What do you know about Dallas and Angie? I know next to nothing, except that they are my grandma's parents. Have any good stories or pictures?
