We have been on a search to find out about our family since about 1990.Along with my Brother Bruce we are still doing research today. Names such as Martz,Baer,Bradley,Childs,Landon,Goodwin and so many more. This site has given me the chance to be able to remember those Dear Family members by creating Memorial pages for them. I only hope that more of my Family will check their pages to see how we are all connected together. Thank you to all of you who feel the same way as I do and think it's important to keep those memories alive. God Bless You All.|

|Anna Schultheis Bertram||RE: Shanabarger|
Cherl, I appreciate your looking but don't go to too much trouble for me as I am not related to the Shanabargers. I have an interest in the East Hill Cemetery in Erie, Neosho Co., KS, where he buried his 2nd wife. That is all. I wanted to share the information with the Neosho County Historical Society if I found it.
Thanks for helping!

Hello, I didn't see a listing for William in any cemetery in Indiana so far. I'm now going to check my Family tree to see if there is a connection to the last name OHL. Are you also on Ancestry.com?? There is a researcher who has even posted photos of the Shanabarger Family. I'm looking at the overview page right now for a Peter 1810-1886. I did see that a posted a flower for Catherine Ohl Shanabarger, so now lets see if she is in my Family. Do you have access to cemetery records other than what is put on findagrave? I live in Mich., do you live there in Frankfort or nearby? Cheryl I Love to search things out so now I'll look into this new mystery. Cheryl"

Do you know where William Shanabarger (1835 - 1917) was buried? He died in 1917 in Madison, Clinton Co., Indiana. I noticed you left flowers for other Shanabargers in a cemetery in that county. Is it possible William is buried there but no one has made a memorial page for him?

|DJ Miles||Prindle Book|
My Prindle book is available through Amazon.com But I am right in the middle of republishing it. It will most likely take one to two months from today before the new addition is available. It includes Levi Goodwin, brother Apollus Goodwin, and Gilbert Goodwin, and their descendants. It begins with Ephraim Prindle born c.1755 in CT and follows his sons, Zera, Eli, Levi, Asa, James, and Amasa. I take their children and follow them from Clinton County, NY to Winnebago County, IL. As well as MI where Amasa's family went and Jackson County, IA where Asa's family settled. The book contains lots of photos and is fully indexed. I is about 550 pages. My line falls down Levi Goodwin's daughter, Alvira Goodwin who married James Prindle's son, Hiram.
There are several other Goodwin/Prindle marriages in the book. Which line does your husband fall down? You can write to me through the email address on my profile page. Thanks!

Hey Cheryl, I noticed you have the surname Goodwin down as one that you research. May I ask what group of Goodwin's you are searching as I have a line I have been working on also.

Hi Cheryl, Thanks for the transfer. I don't know where any of the children are buried except for Ross James Prindle, who was buried in Mendon Twp. Cemetery, St. Joseph County, MI. He does have a Find A Grave Memorial. I did not located memorials for any of the other children of Ephraim J. Prindle.
I do have this little interesting tidbit of John Norman Prindle.

The electrical storm at about 3:30 to 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon did considerable damage in Eau Claire county. In the town of Union the barn on the farm of John Prindle was struck, the building destroyed, and three head of cattle and two hogs were killed. the storm was accompanied by a high wind. Mr. Prindle carries a partial insurance. Mrs. Prindle who has been quite sick for a couple of years is at present at the Sacred Heart Hospital.

|Linda Baird||RE: Jacob Mockerman|
Cheryl yes I am on Ancestry.com and I believe I invited you to my tree already. I now remember it was your husband who is related to the Mockerman family down the line.
I understand if he does not want you to transfer the memorial to me on my Great Great Grandpa Jacob.

|John & Charlene Patterson||RE: Childs Family|
Susan Casey Childs was the daughter of Dan Casey, who was an older brother of my 2nd great-grandfather. Susan had a son (Frank Davis) by her 1st husband Alden Davis and two sons (Jessa & Roldin Childs) by her 2nd husband Andrew Childs so that is my only connection to the Childs line.
Yes, I do belong to Ancestry.com but choose not to publish my family trees on their website due to privacy issues. Charlene
