Find a Grave ID

Bio

I started my Family Tree back around 1990. I started with individual Index cards (which I still use). I ran across Find-a-grave from my cousin Judy Wright which got me started on my paternal grandmothers side of the family. It is a great thing for those that do not live close or travel a lot to be able to SEE the stones for themselves and share photos. We have to realize that even stones are wrong sometimes. With the Grave requests as I go to one's I'm physically looking for myself I look up any grave requests and for the smaller cemeteries take pictures of all. When I add a memorial I look up all available information on WV Division of Culture and History. For the dates more current and in Randolph County, WV I go to the courthouse. I hope to be of assistance to those in need of information.

I mean no disrespect by posting a found Birth/Death Cert- only to assist the maintainer or myself if cannot find parents or make notes in Bio. I typically go thru my uploaded photos and delete the vital stats downloaded if they have been able to link or annotate information off of it. I usually check edits/email a couple times a week. If you need it removed before I go thru. If you have anything to assist in finding information on those I maintain docs are welcome.

For photo requests, I mainly do Randolph, Barbour, Upshur, Tucker and Pendleton County West Virginia.

See my Virtual Cemetery for my direct lineage.

Please use transfer option in suggest edits for requests via the find-a-grave transfer policy.
