I will only make corrections, updates or consider transfers if your request is made on the edit tab of the memorial. |
You must provide CLEAR documentation for any edits you are requesting. If you do not have documentation - please do not make an edit request. I have received so much conflicting information that requiring documentation is the only way to sort it all out.
I do not transfer my own family members. Taking into consideration that many people can be related, if you have a compelling need to have a memorial we are both related to, I will consider your request.
If I have provided location of birth and death in the bio - I don't provide it above with the birth and death information.
PLEASE DO NOT PLACE DEATH CERTIFICATES ON MY MEMORIALS WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION.
These documents are mostly unreadable, ugly and detract from the memorials. If you would like the information on the document included, please provide a text of the document by using the edit tab.
Please be kind and considerate. Remember we are all volunteers.

Hi Wendy, I've updated the memorials for both Charles Reimard (47296537) and Elizabeth, his grandmother (46585421.) It seems I have some work I need to get to ; your request was a good reminder for me to update memorials since the PA death certificates came online.

Wendy, I know very little about this cemetery. I have some ancestors that are possibly buried here, but when we stopped I could not find their stones. (We were in the area for my daughters cheer competition) It did look as if the church is still actively being used, I would try contacting the church - but I am not sure what their contact information would be. Good luck!
|Gary Roberts||RE: Monument Company|
I looked for the e-mail but could not find it either. I believe, if I remember, you could contact the Catawissa Monument Works, 570-356-2305 and they could help you. I had them reset a stone in the Hillside Cemetery and it was $35 but that was a number of years ago. They did a nice job, putting down an adhesive and then resetting the stone. Hope this helps. I will continue to look for the e-mail. Gary
I added the info to Arlene's bio as requested. Thanks for sending it. ~nan

Thank you very much for sending the link. This is a puzzle. The cemetery records clearly state he was buried in MI and yet- you have a photo of his marker in PA. Trying to reconcile this information. Was he moved from MI to PA? Or is the marker in PA a cenotaph? I'll put this on hold and add a note on his page until I hear from you.

Montour, but just barely. I'm not 100% sure, but I think St. Peter's, Lazarus, and Grovania may be one and the same.

Thanks so much for finding the information on Emily's parents. Another mystery solved! You are right, Emily's parents were right under my nose the whole time. Let me know if you ever need me to hunt down a grave or information since I live so close the area you have been researching. Thanks again!

Hi Wendy, long time. I was wondering if you knew any information on Emily. I can not find parents for her. She married Johnson W. Gage & they resided in Prophetstown, IL. She was born in New York. I found a sister, Almina (Williams) Seely who also is buried in Prophetstown, IL with her husband Andrew Jay Seely. According to census I believe she had another sister Lovina Williams. I would appreciate any help if you can. Thank you!

Wendy, I just left a token for Caleb. He was a very handsome young man.
Sorry for your loss.
Hugs to you.
