Born and raised in Long Beach, CA, my husband and I have been married over 40 years. We raised four children in the neighboring community of Los Alamitos. I descend from old southern families as Deriso, Thigpen, Puckett, Massey and Jackson; and my husband's family lines include a North Carolina pioneer family, the Glazeners. He also descends from Fraley and Sloan.
