Let us not forget
those who came before us -
Their lives,
however long or brief,
touch us all in so many ways

Let us learn
from those who came before us -
Their experiences,
however exciting or mundane,
have shaped our world today

Let us honour
those who came before us -
Their legacy,
however great or small,
is ours to carry forward

Some words of advice for the few folks out there who don't quite understand the concept of politeness:

Today's not a good day for rudeness
Tomorrow doesn't look promising either
Why don't you just bottle it until your name appears in the heading of one of these memorial pages?
Then those of us who can still hear you can ignore you a while longer.
