My passions in life are my family, genealogy, gardening, and writing.
I started climbing my family tree when I was twelve, and haven't stopped yet!
I have enjoyed taking some "roots vacations" to Illinois and Pennsylvania. Genealogy naturally leads you to the world of history. I enjoy American History very much.
Many of my ancestors came to America for religious reasons. I have traced them through just about every war that America has taken part in.
"Turning Hearts" comes from the last verse in The Old Testament, Malachi 4: 6.
Findagrave.com is one of my very favorite websites.
QUOTES THAT I LIKE:
It is a second death after you are forgotten. How many generations does it take, even in a close knit family, for the fabric to unravel....? Albert Lewis, Jewish Rabbi
"And death hath come upon our fathers; nevertheless we know then, for a Book of Remembrance we have written among us, according to the pattern of God." Moses 6: 45-46
"It isn't the date on either end that counts But how they used their dash For that dash between the dates Represent the time they spent alive on earth. And now only those who loved them know What that little line is worth." William Elliot Dudley
Those we love, don't go away They walk beside us every day Unseen, unheard, but always near --Still loved, still missed and Very dear.

Thank You once again for your corrections but could you hold off on anymore until my cousin takes over. I will be requesting the transfer of all my memorials over to her probably within a week. I am just finishing the last of what needs to be done and I would hate to have a correction get lost in the shuffle. Thanks again for your kind words and help. Bob
Thank You for the correction, I have applied it to her memorial and gave you credit. Just to let you know, I will be leaving find a grave by the end of this month for good. So any further corrections will have to be sent to my cousin who will be taking over my memorials. Thanks for all the help. Bob
George Grant, #95460974 I went back to the cemetery on Saturday just to make sure there is no marker next to Geneva and there isn't. Today I called the cemetery and they verified George is not buried there.
I have a question about George Grant. Are you positive he's buried next to Geneva? His name is not listed on the Murray Cemetery website and when I took her picture in 2012 I would have automatically taken any pictures with the same name buried near her. I actually went out there today but there's still too much snow and I could barely see Geneva's headstone. If your sure he's buried there please call the cemetery at 801 264 2637 and get his plot # just in case he's not buried next to her. If he's definitely there I will go back in March and the snow should be gone by then.
Howard Young 25434521 I added an overall photo of the area where Howard is buried. His grave is unmarked and no exact location can be determined. Please see his memorial for the photo and the additional information I added. Any questions, let me know through his memorial edit tab.
