Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi and welcome to our FAG site everyone. We have made so very many friends and family since we had joined FAG. We live in WV where we intertwine with the our direct heritage lines.
Pack's, Lilly's, Harvey's, Farley's, Swopes, Ellison's, Dunbar's, Cooper's, Mann's, Meador's etc. Finding our direct lines has been an adventure that we never thought we would be able to connect with again. We thank everyone who has helped us with our searches to do a connection. Here is where the past and the present generations meet again on earth.

If I had made an error with a duplicate of anyone's site which was made up before me, please copy what info I have inserted and let me know which I need to cancel out. The same goes likewise as making up another site because of being placed in the wrong cemetery. Just let me know and I will place the site in the right cemetery. I am up in years now and genealogy has always been my pastime with references. We have many cemeteries in Summers County with same surname and different locations. She is also honored and selected by the members of the Summers County Historical Society as their pro-temp secretary when Mr. Will's is absent from the meetings.

We are all one of God's children so please behave like HIS child.

Find a Grave Rules are important to adhear to for the people who had already worked so very hard to set up an existing site. Because of an error to be corrected please follow the rules by informing the site manager of the site...me. Thank You.

"As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live."

Hello!

It looks as though I lost track and over did my work..... I put in an edit to remove the husbands' entry from 113392525. I had forgotten and put the wifes' entry in the husbands' memorial as well so they looked duplicate on both....

Sorry about that.

Best regards,
Keith Meadows

Korean War

Well like all wars, it is hell.

18 May 1951 entire battalions of the 25th Inf Reg were overrun, surrounded, and pounded by Chinese.
Many MISSING IN ACTION, NEVER RECOVERED that day
by the hundreds.

Many of the Korea MIA are memorialized at the Punch Bowl Cemetery Honolulu and often the families made secondary memorials back home.

Some KILLED in action were buried in Hawaii, some shipped all the way back home. Not sure what rules dictated that.

Yes, the family can apply to VA to get a stone for that missing memorialization. I have tried on behalf of families long gone or uncaring, but VA turned me down, even with cemetery officials approving.

There is a list online of WV KIA KOREA

Sorry it took me so long. I lost interest in working on genealogy for several years and didn't see your request. I have honored your request. If I can help in any other way, please let me know.

Thank You, I appreciate the kind words. I enjoy linking families together, I know when doing my family trees it always helped when the other family members were listed. I appreciate & thank you for all the hard work you have done on Find A Grave.
